Authentic Issues is focused towards speaking on critical issues that are affecting the people of Jamaica. Freedom of thought and expression are very critical to any growing, strong and healthy democracy and this site provides the medium by which such is practiced. It is a site that promotes intellectual discourse and seek to ignite vigorous discussions throughout the landscape of Jamaica. The articles on this site speak to diverse issues and it also extends to commenting on imperative international issues. They are opinionated and do not seek to defame the character of any one as there can be legal consequences. The articles are written with the highest degree of honesty and accuracy and do not wish to spread propaganda, be biased or subjective, but exhibits vigorous research and scholarship.
